Iain Hughes is a Senior Associate at Gasthalter & Co., where he provides strategic communications and media relations support to a wide range of global alternative investment management firms as well as public, private, and start-up companies to protect and enhance their reputations.
He has experience developing and executing profile raising programs for private equity, hedge fund, and real estate investment firms and a focus on supporting clients engaged in mergers and acquisitions, proxy contests, management transitions, litigation, regulatory matters, and other special situations.
Prior to joining Gasthalter & Co., Iain interned at the British news magazine The Week UK, where he assisted their research team in fact-checking, copy-editing, and drafting news and opinion articles.
Iain holds a B.A. in Government with minors in History and Law & Society from Cornell University.
